The phrase “Elevator Pitch” originates in the US: but what does it really mean? Imagine you find yourself in an elevator with an important busi-
ness client or venture capitalist and try to persuade this person of your business idea. You won’t have any aids and of course it’s all in English. Your time is over when the elevator door reopens.

Presenting this way is what we do at our Elevator Pitch workshops and at the Elevator Pitch Night. Every January, around 15 “pitchers” take part in our competition in front of a jury of business experts and a large audience. They get three minutes to present their business idea.
The competition night helps founders of companies on their way by pro-
viding them an opportunity to attract attention to their business ideas and to get in contact with potential investors and clients.
